Santee Cooper accepts on-line applications only via our website, with the exception of environmental internship and Power Associate Program applicants. All other applicants may complete the on-line application using a home computer, a public computer, or one of the computers provided by Santee Cooper in the lobbies of our Moncks Corner and Horry Georgetown locations. Santee Cooper hires college and high school students for summer employment and co-op positions.
Summer positions are available for both high school and college students in a variety of areas throughout the company. Recruitment for summer employment typically begins in December. To learn more about summer employment click here.
Cooperative Education positions are available in Engineering and IT (Computer Science). These positions are coordinated directly through college co-op offices and are open to students who have completed their freshman year. To learn more about our co-op program click here.

Can I complete an on-line application at a Santee Cooper office location?
Yes. The kiosk available for applicants to fill out on -line applications in Moncks Corner is located at the Moncks Corner annex building (3 story building attached to 6 story building) on Rembert Dennis Boulevard. Turn at the Santee Cooper sign and go to the right, follow the Employment signs to the annex. Employment hours are 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
The kiosk available for applicants to complete on-line applications in Horry-Georgetown is located at 305A Gardner Lacy Road, Myrtle Beach, SC off of Highway 501 Turn left at white sign with green lettering that says " SANTEE COOPER, HORRY-GEORGETOWN DISTRIBUTION OFFICES."
Employment hours are 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.

What can I expect after I have submitted my application?
Once received, it is reviewed by the recruiter, if all qualifications are met it is referred to the hiring supervisor. The hiring supervisor will determine if an interview will be scheduled. Someone from Employment will contact you to schedule the interview. Team Interviews (panels of 4-5) are used throughout Santee Cooper. Once the Hiring Supervisor has made a selection, we will contact you by phone or email of the decision. The process can take 4-6 weeks.
